Lottery Boy by Michael Byrne . Review

This is the story of a 15 year old boy called Bully. Bully's best friend in the world is his dog Jack , Jack is a girl dog and they are close as any two beings could possibly be. When Bully's mum dies the mean streets are where he spends most of his time with his faithful friend. Life is very hard for him and it gets a lot harder when he realises he has a winning lottery ticket that is due to expire very soon and he has told the wrong people that he has won it.  The story is told in the run down to handing in his ticket , he has a lot of unsavoury characters chasing after him as he has a bounty on his head and these guys mean business , they want that ticket! I read this in one sitting, it was a pure adrenaline rush as the countdown to the date of the ticket running out draws near and would the bad guys catch Bully and Jack. This is a must read for anyone who has ever had a pet !
