About the author

Abby Williams is the pseudonym for Fiona Ford, writer of romantic up-lit and historical fiction. Fiona started out as a freelance journalist for titles such as Grazia, Sunday Mirror and Stylist before realising her passion lay in novels. Mulberry Lane Babies by Rosie Clarke . Review

This is book three in the Mulberry Lane Series . The story is set in war time England and features a strong cast of female characters who have a strong bond between them in their community which keeps them all going during the worrying time of having family and loved ones away fighting . I love these characters and have really enjoyed reading about them again , you don’t need to have read the previous books to enjoy this book . My favorite chatacters in this book were Ellie and Tom , their storylines were terrific with an added villain to really put the cat among the pigeons , it was so engrossing, I did not want to put the book down so I didn’t and read it all in one go and loved every minute ... who needs sleep anyway ! This is a book and series well worth a read as these characters are delightful and the sense of community is heartwarming .

I received this book in exchange for a review . This book has been published and is now available . Check out the links below to find out more .

The Last Widow by Karin Slaughter . Review

From the very start of this book it was a complete adrenaline ride of a story , intense and explosive , with danger coming from every angle and not a chance to rest on your laurels while reading it . I found myself sitting down to read a few pages and I peeked up two hours later having no clue what had happened in my own living room as I was completely emerged in the story and these characters . Although there was a lot happening and a good few characters to get to know,  it was not confusing at all , just very very enjoyable,  gritty and high octane .

If you want the book equivalent of an action film then here you go ! It was brilliant !

I received this book in exchange for a review. This book is being published June 13th and will be available from all good booksellers then . Below please check out the links :

Knit Lit by Linda Roghaar & Molly Wolf , Editors. Review

If you enjoy crafts , especially of the wooly nature then I would recommend giving this book a look . The book is filled with many peoples experiences with knitting and it is a touching , funny , and heartfelt book .  There is something that everyone can relate to between these covers and it brought me huge amounts of joy during the reading of it , so much so that I read several stories a few times over . The stories range in size from a few pages long to a few paragraphs , stories are written by men and women and all different age groups are included , everyone of them stories are special in their own way .
Knitting for me is like a huge dollop of self care in a fluffy squishy package that you don’t need a prescription for and it can be the perfect antidote to help anxiety and promote calm , reading  that I was clearly not the only one who felt this way was really reassuring , reading about other people’s lives and the comfort it can bring a troubled soul was soul feeding goodness  .
Would I recommend this .... without a doubt.

Goodreads :

One Last Greek Summer by Mandy Baggot. Review

The story is based around a character called Beth , she has found that her well planned life has taken a drastic detour and she is now facing an unsure future.  In her thirties now  , newly divorced and at a loss for what do do she takes off with her bestie to one of their favorite past holiday destinations , Corfu , where it has the possibility of restoring her sense of equilibrium and put some much needed fun back into her life . Then add a controlling mother and an annoying ex husband and it became near impossible to put this book down .

I really enjoyed this book , from the beautiful setting , Beth and Heidi’s banter , and the love interests for both ladies ,  it made it a terrific read that would be perfect to read on holiday or to read while daydreaming that you were on holiday :0)  Go Read This!
