Glossybox June 2014 UK/Ireland Edition

I was very excited about this box as I had seen a few boxes on the internet and I was hoping my box would be similar. I am thrilled to say it was! This box is dedicated to channeling your summer beauty.
The lovely pink glossy box.

Inside was the Glossy magazine .

The pretty inner wrapping!

The Goodies! I am impressed!
Nip + Fab Eye Cream in the shade medium. I can't wait to try this as I am in need of a new eye cream and I have heard great things about this company.
Look at this gorgeous brush by Teeze Trend Cosmetics! This is a stiff eye shadow brush. So pretty! Not a brand I am familiar with but if this is the normal packaging I can't wait to find out more about them.
This QV lotion can be used to moisture skin and even removes makeup. I am always looking for skincare that is gentle to sensitive dry skin but gives it moisture without irritating it , I can't wait to try this after my next shower!
Rise N Shine by Got 2 B Schwarzkopf.
A multi benefit styling product Jasmine infused . Lightly floral scented that is delicately scented and pleasant to use. Unusual texture for a hair product , the soufflé is actually really nice on dry hair , giving moisture and texture and leaving it smelling great.
This is a very pretty blush by So Susan cosmetics. It contains Buriti oil and is nourishing on the skin ,reduces redness and offers sun protection. It is cruelty free and does not contain a lot of the nasty products that are contained in some cosmetics .

I loved this box and I will use everything in here. I will be reviewing the products I use from my Glossy boxes the first week of each new month in my new empties blog posts and in separate reviews.
I cannot wait until July when our new box arrives!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Lissadell Opens Once Again. June 2014

When I read this week that Lissadell was re-opening I was very excited. I have been there many times down through the years but for the last five years the house and grounds were no longer available to the public due to a long running battle between Constance Cassidy and family and Sligo County Council about road access . The matter has now been resolved and the family this week welcomed the public once again. Me and two members of my family were thrilled to come here on the second day of opening where we were very pleased to see how well kept it was since our last visit just before it closed. Lissadell is beautiful inside and out and I hope the pictures below do it some justice. This house has a rich history and the poet W B Yeats was a visitor here and friend of previous family members. There was also strong political connections to the house that are well documented and if you have an interest in Irish history that you will find a huge amount to interest you here. From the house you can see Benbulben mountain in the distance and the shore on the opposite side. The grounds are impeccable and the staff are friendly and helpful and during the tour today we were happy to see Constance Cassidy pop in to say hello to our tour group. Well we could not be more made welcome then that! As you come in there are two galleries. W. B Yeats is honoured here in a gallery dedicated to him and his family as well as a gallery with detailed accounts of Irish Political history. This is a remarkable house that is well worth spending time visiting , after a few hours walking around why not visit the tea shop where the delicious tea and cakes and other light snacks will keep you going until you have finished your stay here. I will be visiting soon again and I hope you will too.

Here Come the Boys by Milly Johnson. Review

19417073
Here Come the Boys is a short story based around a woman called Angie who decides to take a relaxing holiday cruise with her husband. Far away from everyone and everything they know ,the last thing Angie expects to see is a blast from the past in the form of her ex best friend Selena.Their friendship did not end well so she is the last person that Angie ever wanted to see again.
This was a very enjoyable book that I recommend to anyone but especially if you are going on holiday . The characters are very enjoyable , the plot was interesting and relaxing and perfect if you are not in the mood for a longer story. Angie and Selena ended up being my favourite characters, their interactions were my favourite scenes as we got to know about their past together . Perfect summer reading!
