The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness. Review.

This was a superb ending to the All Souls Trilogy that I have read from the beginning . We have followed Diana and Matthew through a long and bitter journey to be together without those of both their kinds ( witch,vampire) trying to destroy them. In this book the battle really commences and there  are surprises and joy in store for them as well as terror . The loyalty of their true friends will be revealed when their enemies try to cause them the most harm , and the tension builds from the very beginning of the story and does not let up the entire way through the book . If you enjoy books about Vampires and Witches then I recommend this book ! It can be read alone but I recommend the entire trilogy as all the books have such detail put into them. I was really impressed by the amount of research that must have gone into this trilogy. Diana is a very strong female lead character and seeing the story through her eyes was very enjoyable .

In Hospital Again

I hate hospitals so much , and to be back here so soon after last time is a real downer. I was rushed in by ambulance Friday night . I spent ten hours in casualty before getting into a bed in a ward . I was even in the same bed as earlier in the year  . The time went so long there , and the noise and the smells did not bring back good memories . Thankfully I am home again now after a painful stay and all I want is soup , bath , bed and books. The food can often be disgusting and I was def not a fan of this. 

Add some surgical tights during hot weather and it was lots of fun! 

Injections in my stomach and needles being put in are never pleasant and I go home black and blue , but I had some lovely chats with other patients and staff who were lovely. 

 Hopefully I will be back to my daily posts tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. Wishing you all a lovely Sunday! Xxxx

The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty. Review

This is a story based around a fictional crime that took place 70 years previously on an island called Scribbly Gum. The story centers around a small group of people , Rose and Connie, Grace and her mother, Sophie , Callum. Veronika , Margie and Ron . Each person have their own issues and problems and are all linked to each other in one way or another. There is a lot of Secrets and lies, betrayals and old hurts and they are all entwined here with new beginnings , healing , and plenty of surprises. This is the first book I read by this author but it certainly won't be the last ! Superb!
