This is the story about a young girl called Pearl who lives with her very large family. Her family is made up of a cult that goes by the name of Seed and they believe in nature but on a dark level. This group has a leader that the family obey and they follow his leadership to the point of it leaving the reader uneasy. They keep themselves away from the outside world as much as possible so their life in this community they live in is basic and their leader is their source of knowledge on everything. I could not put this down when I started it ! The day to day life seemed at times normal and other times sent shivers down my spine . If you want a gripping and heart stopping read that will pull at your heart strings then this is the book for you .

Night Time Reading

Tonight's books that I will be dipping into are these gorgeous books. I am about a fourth of the way through most of these and they are so good that I just can't put one down and finish it, they are all tempting me so tonight I am reading a few pages of each :0)

In My Mailbox

I was thrilled when I knew I was getting sent this for review from the lovely guys over at Lovereading.co.uk .This is book three , the final book in the All Souls Trilogy . I read book one and I have saved book two to read so I could read this straight afterwards. I am so excited I can't wait to start . This weekend is going to be dedicated to a Deborah Harkness Readathon!!! Yay!!!

Hi guys here are some awesome books I received in my mailbox today from the lovely people over at Lovereading.co.uk. I am really enjoying these covers!!

The Museum of Things Left Behind by Seni Glaister. I love this title and picture on the cover. I don't know too much about this book yet but I am going to be starting this very soon.

I think this is going to be the third Red Eye book that I have read. This is a series of eerie creepy books for Young Adults.  If you enjoy a book to keep you up into the early hours of the morning listening out for things that go bump in the night then this is the series for you.

You can expect reviews of both these books coming your way very soon .

Sunday Afternoon

I don't know about any you guys but Sundays are one of my favourite days of the week. I often meet people out walking their dogs when I am out on my long Sunday jaunts and they are just the friendliest people . It is fun to get up and  get out there and see parts of the world you live in that you pass by daily or just never bothered to look at before. Below are a few of the places I visited recently. 

 I like rural out of the way places , places I can walk , hear nature , wear hardy footwear and likely get covered in some sort of mud , hill walk , and really just ramble about.

 Not forgetting that Flask with something hot and snacks are essential. When out today the words of a Bette Midler song came to mind ...the snow capped mountains high , was the song From A distance ? It was beautiful none the less. 

The snow is still lingering here right now and it feels like it could be back... Let's hope it passes us by until next winter..

I like to imagine the people who lived in some of these places and the lives they had , relationships and perhaps problems , where were they now and did they have happy lives. I can sit for hours wondering looking at these old places and how the times have changed so much since these building were built.

Has it all changed for the better.... Who knows..........

Lunch was needed after walking so this managed to tempt us........ It was delicious as it looked. 

At the end of the day when legs are weary from walking a hot bath and some good reading material will help me relax into a peaceful nights sleep with a hot drink , warm home made crocheted blankets and a hot water bottle tucked in at my feet.
