The Ghost and the Haunted Mansion by Alice Kimberly (Cleo Coyle) is book 5 in the Haunted Bookshop Mystery series. In this book we come across a lot of ghostly going's on which gives a little eeriness to the story. We of course meet some of my old favourite characters like Penelope and her spirited friend Jack Shepard. These two characters together are just awesome ! Jack was formally a PI and he is a great help to Penelope on many many occasions ! Jack is a very funny character and I do love his attitude and slang expressions from times gone by as well as his close relationship with Penelope. Penelope and Jack have their work cut out for them in this book when a recent death seems rather suspect....(Insert action, adventure and red herrings here).
I loved this and highly recommend this to any cosy mystery fan. You won't regret it!
