If you are familiar with this series then you will know that the main character is Lori Shephard and she has a magical connection to her Aunt Dimity.. As Lori has a habit of getting herself into dangerous positions, having that magical connection often becomes extremely handy for advice and sometimes her survival.
In this particular book Lori and her husband Bill travel to Hailesham Park, a large family estate in the country where Bill has been asked to come to the reading of a will. Things do not exactly go to plan when family disputes, threats and danger seem to surround them every day while at Haliesham.Lori's inquisitive nature becomes very handy.....as does her connection to her aunt.
