All My Secrets by Sophie McKenzie. Review

This is the story about a young girl called Evie,  she is just a regular girl with a mum and a dad and twin siblings ,but her life takes a drastic turn when a solicitor shows up at her door telling her she has inherited ten million pounds by a family member she never knew she had . She quickly finds out her family hid her connection to this person all her life and this fills her with anger and sets her on a quest to know more about this person who is leaving her so wealthy. The more she digs around the harder it becomes to know who to trust especially where money is involved and the new friends she meets may be the only ones to help her solve the mystery. I really enjoyed this story, creepy and full of twists it's one of those books you read in one sitting!

Because You'll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas . Review

Because you'll never meet me is the story about two boys who because of their individual illnesses can never meet so they form an unconventional friendship by mail . Both boys come from different countries and both are struggling with their lives and illnesses and both come to depend on the other for a support that neither really thought was possible at the beginning so watching the friendship grow is heartwarming even though they do have some arguments and frustrations.
This was a tender story that really makes you appreciate good health and the good friends that stick by you during the hard times.

Royal Wedding: The Princess Diaries 11 by Meg Cabot. Review

I have read some of the previous books in this series and loved them and now with book 11 Mia is all grown up and in her mid  twenties and royal life is pretty much what you would expect it to be with Royalty like Mia! Love , friendship and family are the forefront of this princesses life and there is some wonderful surprises in store for her in this book . Mia is a very likeable character and you can see why her friends are so loyal to her. There are lots of laugh out loud moments and reasons to smile while reading this , but one thing is for sure she has grown up a lot since first finding out she is a princess.

Finishing This Week

There are so many books I want to read right now that I am like an excited kid on Christmas morning.
I have quite a few books on the go right now so below are the books I am finishing up this week.

The first book is A Crafty Killing by Lorraine Bartlett. I am a cozy mystery fan and love this authors writing style!

The next book I am finishing is by Rosie Thomas . Daughter of the House.
The Accident Season by Moira Fowley- Doyle
Darkest Night by Will Hill

Because you'll never meet me by Leah Thomas

The Last To know by Melissa Hill. Review

I am a big fan of Melissa Hill's,  and with this book she surprised me with the way she can twist the plot and literally make it impossible to put it down so I started and finished this book today in one go and I loved it ! Normally when I like characters from the beginning it stays that way to the end of the story but with this story that did not happen and that was a first for me , the story I thought I was reading about did a dramatic twist that I really did not see coming and turned in a completely different direction leaving me stunned. Surprisingly wonderful !

This was a library book .

Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sachar . Review

Welcome to Heath Cliff , Pennsylvania  where we meet Tamaya and her friend Marshall who go to Woodridge school. It's a very prestigious school but it has it's bad side too in the form of school bully Chad. After one particulary unpleasant day he chases after these friends and they run into the woods , this was the worst mistake they could make because there is something far scarier then a big lout of a bully in there , there is something that would scare even him!
